Malami floats a radio station in Birnin-Kebbi

The Attorney-General of the federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN) has established a radio station, Rayhaan Radio, in Birnin-Kebbi, Kebbi state. Rayhaan Radio is a new FM Station in Birnin-kebbi, the capital city of Kebbi state. Rayhaan Radio will be the fifth FM Station in the state, after Brinkle FM Zuru, Equity FM (FRCN), KBC and Vision FM. @radioreporter learnt that Rayhaan Radio is located at No. 14 sani Abacha bypass road, opposite Azbir Arena, Birnin-kebbi, Kebbi state. MASARI BAGS TWO NAGARTA RADIO AWARDS

Governor Aminu Bello Masari of katsina state has been conferred with two awards from the 15th anniversary of Nagarta radio. Presenting the awards after reading the citation of the awardee, the General Manager, Alhaji Abdulmalik Adi, explained that the board of Directors of Nagarta has after critical analysis of the records of governor Masari throughout his career as a public servant and political leader, they were convinced that Masari has demonstrated exemplary leadership qualities to reckon with. He said the station had since two years back organized its 15th years anniversary but because of corona pandemic, the occasion could not hold but that with the improvement in the control of the pandemic, the ceremony came on in order to honour some important personalities who distinguished themselves and contributed in the development of the lives of the masses. Breaking: Lagos get a new radio station, Mainland FM 95.9

By Olalekan Opaleye Mainland 95.9 FM is the new radio station in Lagos State, Nigeria. It becomes the latest additional radio to lagos' saturated radio industry. The station  will be operating on 95.9 MHz on Frequency Modulation band. Mainland FM will commence transmission on Nigeria's Independence day, October 1, 2021.  The station will operate under the tagline "The sound of Lagos" Currently, Lagos has about 44 radio stations across  commercial, Public, Campus, and community stations. @radioreporterng gathered that @pamac.k and Lilian Abirika of Ogene 98.3 FM have joined the Mainland FM's team.

Family Love FM's Ohuabunwa Indicates Interest To Vie For Chairmanship Of BON

NUJ mourns retired Deputy Director of Radio Niger

The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Niger State Council, has expressed sadness over the demise of retired Deputy Director, News of Radio Niger, Mr Sunday Abraham, saying his death was not only a loss to the family, Radio Niger, but the entire media industry. Mr. Abraham died  at his residence in Maikunkele, Bosso Local Government Area of the state. In a condolence message signed by the State Secretary of NUJ, Comrade Usman Muhammad Chiji, the council described late Abraham as one of the finest, experienced and committed journalists, who mentored many to become professionals in the media sector. According to him, Mr Sunday Abraham died at a time his services were mostly needed in the area of mentoring young journalists for better performance as entrenched in the four thematic areas of the present leadership of NUJ in the state.
