Radio Nigeria (FRCN) launches Ogo-Ilu 89.3FM at Oko, Oyo State.
The Minister described Ogo-Ilu 89.3FM as a Constituency project of Mr Olusegun Odebunmi representing Ogo-Oluwa-Surulere Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives noting that it is the first of its kind in the country and commended him for the laudable achievement. Alhaji Lai Muhammed urged the people of Oko community in Oyo state to see the station as their own and protect jealously because it will bring government closer to the grassroots as radio remains the most effective means of disseminating information. The Director General of FRCN, Dr Mansur Liman while applauding the federal lawmaker, Olusegun Odebunmi for partnering with Radio Nigeria in setting up the radio station said Ogo-Ilu 89.3FM has added to the wide reach of Radio Nigeria as the largest network in Nigeria and Africa at large.
