Amuludun 99.1 FM, being the first Yoruba- only speaking radio station in Nigeria, located at Moniya Ibadan was established on 10th October, 2007 and commenced transmission in pure and undiluted Yoruba language on 22nd October, 2007 Amuludun FM. It has the appellation “O Tawonyo” meaning “Stand Out”. Bandwidth/Coverage Area Amuludun FM Station has a bandwidth of 99.1MHz in the frequency modulated band. The coverage area is Ibadan metropolis and environs. Mandate and Achievement of set Target Before year 2007, it was conspicuously observed that the three major cultures in Nigeria, the Yoruba speaking area did not have a language radio station to tend to their tradition and social culture values.
